Let it snow and snuggle up to this adorable set of 4 Winter differentiated sight word emergent reader mini books. These are perfect for young readers to practice sight words/ high frequency words and phonemic awareness independently, during small group instruction, and/or during whole group activities.
I love to focus on a few sight word at a time and have students highlight each time they find the sight word! The added options include the ability for students to write in the sight word "can". You can choose to assemble each book separately or mix and match for a perfect differentiated option. The books are set up to be double stapled on the copy machine and then cut in half for easy assembly and no paper waste.

Your class NEEDS this fun, hands on, and engaging set of sight word magnifying glass activities with winter pictures. Students look at each page with a magnifying glass to search for the 10 hidden sight words. Students write each sight word they see and read it 3 times. Students can then color the pictures. Your students will thank you for this great activity that can be used during literacy centers or as an independent activity.
This works perfectly during literacy center in my kindergarten class, but could also be used for first grade. The students LOVE using the magnifying glasses!
